  • Opt what data you'd like to store.

    You can turn off the sentence and URL of the word that you marked on the setting page of the dashboard. We only save your words' text.

  • In the sentence snapshot, we replaced all the numbers with the * before save.
  • You can delete the word that you think it's a sensitive word for you on the Vocabulary Calendar.
Website Whitelist

By adding a site blacklist in Dashboard, Burning Vocabulary will not work on that site.

Your content

We respect the privacy of all users of our extension and comply the User Data Privacy policy for the Chrome Web Store. By using Burning Vocabulary extension for Chrome, Chromium based browsers, you consent to this privacy policy.

Do we collect personal data? No.

We do not collect and do not store your personal data, including personally identifiable information, browsing history, cookies, cached items, form data, web browsing activity, health information, authentication information, etc. As you see, we have our business that users pay us to use our services. Besides, the Chrome web store reviewer will review our code package on each of our updates. You can use our extension safely.

Do we transmit personal data via insecure networks? No.

We use https to exchange data. It is used for secure communication over a computer network, and is widely used on the Internet. We do not transmit personal to our servers or to 3rd parties via secure or insecure network. We do not transmit such information at all. The processing is done locally by using an extension API and an origin-isolated extension frame, on your own system (computer).

This information helps us to better respond to your individual needs and improve our extension, related apps and services. We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act). Our extension and related services are intended for people under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly solicit and do not collect personally identifiable information from anyone under 13 years of age.
